Our Work
Active, healthy and resilient communities thrive on access to the outdoors and public lands and public commons, like parks and trails. An active lifestyle is one of the key ingredients to the high quality of life that we all enjoy in Park County. Study after study shows that sidewalks, pathways and trails and more importantly time in the natural environment make individuals and communities safer, healthier and happier.
We value open spaces and the traditional farming and ranching heritage of Park County. We value the mountains and rivers that define this place and the northern Yellowstone ecosystem. We hunt, fish, recreate and find solace in the wilds of Paradise Valley and the Shields Valley. We strive to protect this place and these values.
Park County is a great place, let’s keep it that way.
