Join PCEC for these Earth Week events!
Once again, the Park High Green Initiative is offering a full week of Earth Week events, including everything from poetry to a Trashion Show. We have more info about the action-packed week below.
This week, PCEC also has a $15,000 match from the Cinnabar Foundation. All funds raised during this week will go to PCEC's Conservation Leadership program, which includes our high school interns and supports the Green Initiative. You can donate here!
Did you know that PCEC is supporting former Park High science teacher Alecia Jongeward to continue her work with the Green Initiative? In that role, Alecia meets weekly with the students and is helping them organize a Youth Climate Summit this fall bringing together students across Montana.
The Green Initiative is holding a Silent Auction all week long to raise money for that summit. You can see that Silent Auction here.

Poetry Reading
Monday April 17, 4 p.m. to 6 p.m.
Green Door Gallery, 120 N. Main Street, Livingston
Create a poem about the Earth and what it means to you. Send your poetry to Ellianna.wester.rose@gmail.com. View the poetry from April 16th through 22nd at Green Door Gallery in Wheatgrass Books! Join us for a poetry reading event at 5 pm on April 17th, bring $4 to enter which will be used to supplement Park High School's Green Initiative fund.
Climate Monologues
Wednesday, April 19, 4 p.m. to 6 p.m.
Elk River Books, 122 S. Second Street, Livingston
Join us at Elk River Books to discuss environmental issues through impromptu monologues. Snacks will be provided and the winner will receive an Elk River Books gift card!
Film Festival
Thursday, April 20 5 p.m. to 7 p.m.
Blue Slipper Theater, 113 E. Callender Street, Livingston
A showing of environmentally inspired films.
Community Event
Friday, April 21, 5 p.m. to 7 p.m.
Lincoln School Auditorium, 215 E. Lewis Street, Livingston
This year's event will feature the culmination of the Silent Auction, the 2nd Annual Trashion Show, presentation of the Green Business Award and other Community Centered Events.
