PCEC 2020 Summer Newsletter
This year’s newsletter helps celebrate 30 years of PCEC. We honor that legacy by working to give the community a stronger voice to help protect wild places in Yellowstone’s Northern Gateway.
The newsletter is our annual membership drive. A suggested donation for membership is $50, but any gift within your means, no matter how large or small, is meaningful. Community involvement and financial contributions demonstrate the support for our work to decision makers. Our voices are stronger together.
If you have renewed your membership this year, or recently (Give-a-Hoot donations count) we thank you for your support. It’s never too late to become a member, or renew a lapsed membership. The more members we have, the more impact you have. As a member you help guide PCEC. We listen to what you have to say, and together we take action on important local issues. You can renew your membership HERE.
From the Crazy Mountains to community planning to mask sewing to what we’re doing about COVID, our newsletter provides an in-depth look at what we’re doing in the community. The newsletter also provides a financial report on PCEC, as well as a land acknowledgement that PCEC’s conservation work takes place on indigenous lands — the traditional homelands of the Apsáalooke, or Crow Tribe.
PCEC is uniquely positioned to invest in the people, water, and wildlife — right in our backyard. With the support and participation of citizens like you, we can work together to preserve this special place — communities full of character and one of the most intact wild ecosystems in North America.
