Let's move forward with planning in Park County
Next week, the Park County Commission will discuss next steps and priorities for planning in Park County.
Now is a critical time to show our County Commissioners and Planning Board members that we want them to continue working on proactive planning tools to deal with growth in our community. We support the pause, but we also want to see an updated and improved version of conflict mitigation.
Now is a critical opportunity to show the Commissioners that Park County residents support smart planning.
We need your help. Can you add your name to our letter?
The County Commission will discuss next steps at their regularly scheduled meeting on Tuesday, November 2nd at 9 a.m. You can call in at 1-571-748-4021, ID 2896157# or virtually at http://gomeet.com/parkcountycommission.
Can you Zoom in and make a comment? If so, some suggested talking points are available here.
While we support the planning board slowing down and taking a great on conflict mitigation, the pace of growth and development in Park County is not taking a break.
Conflict Mitigation is still an important tool, and we should work to make it better in order to allow responsible development and growth to proceed without sacrificing our water, wildlife, and unique way of life.
We hope you can join us! Thanks for all you do.
