I'm writing to remind you that Wednesday, February 8, at noon we will be holding a Community Conversation to discuss the current legislative session. Representatives from the Montana Environmental Information will share information about what bills they're following and how to get involved.

Another exciting opportunity to get involved is tomorrow, Tuesday, February 7, at 5:30 p.m. The city will be presenting an update on how they plan to implement the Growth Policy.

This is a very hectic legislative session and our partners at the Montana Environmental Information Center will update us on bills that will impact our work and local community regarding the Montana Constitution, open cut mining, land use and planning.

The Livingston City Commission will hear a plan for implementing Livingston's Growth Policy, which was adopted in 2021. At the meeting, we will learn more about how our shared community vision will move forward to becoming our City’s policies, procedures, and more.
