This Friday: Native Plant Sale and Party

What are you doing this Friday night? Come celebrate the wildflower season with us!

Montana Freshwater Partners still has plenty of plants for sale, which will be available on Friday.

We will be joined by other community members to learn more about the importance of native plants and how to grow them in our lawns and open spaces. This is a great opportunity for the whole family to come learn more about supporting local biodiversity, starting with your own backyard.

We’ve got a great lineup for you:

  • Farm-To-School will be offering garden tours and planting tips. 

  • Montana Freshwater Partners will be fulfilling online orders and selling the remaining inventory of native plants. 

  • MSU Extension Master Gardener Alumni will be volunteering their time and expertise to assist with any gardening questions. 

  • I will be offering resources for identifying and managing noxious weeds. 

  • We will also have a soil texture demonstration table, wildflower planting station, and hot weenies sold by Lucky Dog Food Truck.
